    Alicia Scalici, LSW

    Alicia Scalici is a graduate from Aurora University with a Master’s of Social Work with a specialization in clinical counseling.  She has a Bachelor’s in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University. Alicia has worked in different social service agencies throughout her career, moving to private practice 2 years ago.   
    Alicia believes we are all unique individuals and her goal is to meet each person where they are when they come into her office. It is important for her to understand what a person is looking to gain from therapy. Alicia will support individuals in developing tools to cope with life’s challenges, to help increase their sense of self, and gain more peace in their life. Alicia has interest working with women and men experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship conflict and trauma. She also has experience working with teens. 
    Alicia matches evidence supported treatments to individuals presenting problems and goals. Alicia is comfortable working from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Alicia is recently trained in Eye Movement Desisitazaion Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
