Your First Visit
What Does A First Visit Consist Of?
OUR OFFICE IS OPEN FOR VIRTUAL VISTIS, IN OFFICE OR IN HOME VISITS!
Walking into a counseling center for the first time can be anxiety-provoking. We believe all who come through our doors are courageous for beginning (or continuing) their journey toward healing and wholeness.
When you arrive you will be welcomed by a zen-like office environment. You are invited to sit in the waiting room until an office administrator or clinician greets you. While you wait you will fill out new client paperwork. Please be sure to always bring your current insurance card and photo ID to your appointment.
Children are welcome to relax and play in the waiting room with a variety of activities such as games and coloring books.
Next, your clinician will call you in to their office. There you will get to know each other and discuss what brought you to our office and what goals you might be working towards. At the end of your session, you and your clinician will discuss what next steps you will take together.
You may begin by going to our Simple Practice portal and requesting an appointment. Following you can fill out new client forms prior to your first visit:
You also can contact our staff with more questions and we would be happy to assist you in this process.
