Sabrina Kreier, MA, LCPC

Sabrina received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from McKendree University in Lebanon, IL in May of 2021. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Illinois. Sabrina has four years of experience working in residential, housing, and community settings. She has extensive training and experience working with individuals with eating disorders, mood disorders, and couples. Sabrina has experience working with people of all ages from early childhood to late adulthood and has a passion for working with people across all populations.
Sabrina believes that therapy is a time for people to explore and better themselves leading to a more fulfilled life. She works from a person-centered approach meeting the client where they are at, but also utilizes strategies from all different practices. Sabrina believes that the client is the expert in their own life and needs someone to show empathy, support, and guidance. She approaches each session as a unique situation and involves the client in every step. 

Sabrina is originally from California, lived in the greater St. Louis area for 5 years and has now been brought to Northern Illinois. Sabrina loves spending time with her two dogs, Nike (Black Lab) and Shylo (rescued mutt), and her husband Jake. She enjoys hiking, baking, movies, and being outside with her chickens. Overall, Sabrina finds joy in helping people find and reach their goals, find healthy ways to cope and adapt to trauma and stressors, and live a more enjoyable, fulfilled life.
