Juli Rosendahl, MA, LPC

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University, which I completed in 2023. I began my internship here in 2022 and continued on as part of the team after graduating. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice from Roosevelt University. I work with clients of all ages—children, adolescents, and adults.

In my role, I provide therapy and assist in psychological and neuropsychological testing. Testing can help answer important questions regarding learning, attention, autism, mood, and anxiety. It can be a validating experience for clients and families, offering clarity and insight into challenges that may have felt confusing or overwhelming. I aim to make the process clear, supportive, and collaborative, so clients leave with a strong understanding of their results and how to use them to support their goals in treatment, education, and daily life.

In counseling, I work with a wide range of needs and have additional training in play therapy and PTSD/complex trauma. I am also working on EMDR training. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies, incorporating art-based methods when they can help clients express themselves and process experiences. My approach is flexible and individualized, allowing me to meet clients where they are and adapt to their unique needs, goals, and pace.
