Evaluation of Autism

A diagnosis of autism can help you find solutions to symptoms that interfere with every day life. Whether that includes accommodations in school or the workplace, behavioral therapy, or medication management, our staff can help you access the resources you might need.

The first step in this process is getting an evaluation for autism spectrum disorders. Our highly trained clinicians use a variety of standardized testing measures to accurately assess and diagnose autism spectrum disorders across age, developmental level, and language skills.

Some of the tests we administer include:

  • Our own standardized intake assessment created by Dr. Melissa Folk-Jednoroz

  • Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)

  • Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R)

  • Gilliam Autism Rating Scale, Third Edition (GARS-3)

  • Childhood Autism Rating Scale, Second Edition (CARS-2)

Our office assists with autism evaluations for several schools in Illinois, and we also work closely with The Place for Children with Autism.

If you would like to schedule an evaluation for yourself or your child, contact our office and we can start that process together.
