I am a Master’s-level intern at Roosevelt University, currently pursuing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With over 25 years of professional experience supporting individuals and families, I bring a deep understanding of human development, emotional resilience, and the value of creating safe, supportive spaces for growth.
Before transitioning into the counseling field, I worked as a kindergarten teacher, where I developed strong skills in fostering emotional awareness, communication, and collaboration with families. This foundation continues to inform my therapeutic approach, which is compassionate, patient, and rooted in a strengths-based perspective.
In my clinical work, I support children, adolescents, adults, and couples navigating a wide range of concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, and personal growth. I am passionate about helping clients build insight, develop healthy coping strategies, and strengthen their sense of self.
I strive to create a warm, empathetic, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing process.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with my two beloved dogs.
